Pretty interesting to see a veteran detective's perspective on the game. It seems that some of his nitpicks (handling of evidence at a crime scene, etc.) just stem from the game trying to tailor a suitable pace for the player.

Ive thought about how they handle stuff and dont wear gloves and stuff in the game too while Im playin it but you gotta think this was the 40s they didnt even know about dna and lots of other things that are commonplace now. They prolly wouldnt have thought twice about just pickin somethin up and lookin at it whereas now youd blow a case just cause you sneezed wrong

Indeed, back then handling of evidence is very different.

Watching that video sort of spoils everything though. :-\

"Everything" being one (early) mission in the game. ;)

It figures anyway. How are you going to get an apt comparison if you can't see all the mechanics and how everything is handled for one cohesive case?

I missed that whole part goin back to the bar. It tells ya in the case wrap up if you missed it. My biggest prob with the game is tellin the difference between doubt and lie
