CV 3 has an enemy more annoying than medusa heads, and less annoying than the loop 2 skulls, the bone dragon cannon pillars. There's parts of the game you must climb, these things are strategically placed to eat your health away while your fighting off another cannon.

Edit: Medusa heads in the original Akdra X68K (the original mode on PS1's CV Chronicles, though not sure if the difficulty is as high as the original X68K version) clocktower were a massive pain, though the gear wheels that would roll to you and from you were more painful.

I dunno, those parts weren't so bad when you remembered the exact places on the stairs to wait. Unless you have Sypha and her or ice spell with you I find it much more fruitful just to ignore those bastards.

What I supremely fucking hated were those sections where you wait for blocks to build around you and tower towards the exit. WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!?

I nearly 1CC'd this game on an emulator without savestates or any of that, and even though the PS1 port is supposed to be easier for the life of me I can't recreate that success on that version.

Sypha might be a powerful machine, but she can't take damage for shit, she takes the highest damage per hit, so you really have to save her for harder sections where the enemy is what is making the stages hard, not the obstacles.

Sypha is Useless IMO, She can't contribute to the team even though she can do the most damage. I'd rather be alive.

I hated them in Dracula X I swear >.< but as with all games practice makes perfect, it's all about timing.
