Should I go for the sonic boots or fuma's greavs? It seems the sonic boots are faster but the other increases more stats.

Just go for speed especially if you go online. I recall having some boots that make you go fast (been a while) that was poor compared to others.  To me stats are not everything heck obtaining items are not a big objective I just like whipping stuff, but if you need help obtaining it just ask, but do you have a 360.

No I'm playing this on PS3. I like whipping stuff too and have recently started playing online. I have the winged boots but they don't have any stat bonuses only speed. I just want to move fast(mostly to keep up with everyone) while getting a little extra stat bonus.

Right so in that case go for the sonic. Never played with anyone on this site I think it would be kind of interesting.

Just another question. Should I stick with the normal sub weapons or go for the R. versions you get in chapter 10 of them. Like the R. Boomerang and whatnot. Also is there a difference between them?

I like the R. Axe better than the regular one. It does more damage and uses less mp, if I remember correctly. When you level it up and start throwing two, it gives you a decent area of damage. The only downside to the R. subweapons are that they don't boost your strength stat when you level them.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

Fuma's are better for the whippers, you get way better stat boots including damage and magic regen.  The run speed is still fast enough to keep up with groups.
