Topic: What the heck happened to 3D Classics Castlevania?

At one point it was announced, then it just disappeared, like the other many 3D Classics games. What happened to it?

Perhaps they'll release it as a promotion to go alongside with Mirror of Fate.

Nah, the original Castlevania NES was going to get the 3D Classics treatment. I was really looking forward to it.

I think it should nintendo is behind MS because of the code they sent to them and reception has been overall positive so who knows a 3d version might be released as a download code when reserving MoF.

IMO, CV1 has enough remakes for now. Lots of other old games deserve a remake or a 3D treatment (CV3, Bloodlines, etc.)

That's one thing that's kind of disappointed me with Nintendo and the 3D classics. They keep releasing g NES games, but none are in 3D, like Zelda and Metroid. I'd buy those. And I think I read somewhere Megaman 2 is coming out, but not 3D, and that was another one demoed like Castlevania. I'm thinking we won't get it
