Unlikely resolution: Relink the music files.

So I can't exactly remember when I started, but I think about 2-3 years ago, I gradually downloaded entire albums of the Castlevania music collection, adding to my OCRemix collection. Man, I loved the Dracula New Classic (we need moar like this) and Dracula Battle Perfect selections. But as years gone by, I didn't concentrate on the collection and an album or two were only partially downloaded.

I later got the idea of getting music of some of my other favorite classic games, but I figured I should finish this first. Unfortunately, it appears that every single link on the multimedia page (at least music wise) is dead. Major bummer. I've spent alot of time collecting and organizing much of that, and considered finding some way to share it all, but that project may nearly reach a screeching halt because of the dead links. Thankfully, I got a very sizable portion of albums already and I know I can find much of the music elsewhere.

TL;DR: Is there any chance of the music files coming back, or would anybody be able to assist with getting me some of the albums I can no longer download from here: http://www.castlevaniadungeon.net/media.html

PS: I also realize this sounds greedy, but the end goal was to get everything in one place, organize it meticulously and release it in an easy/relatively easy to get package. I'm not sure if talk about that is allowed here, but if the music links were posted on the site on the first place, I'll take that risk.

It's allowed.
The site is long due for an overhaul.

I wish I could be of more help to the site but I'm not the best when it comes to organization.

Here's a link to the MP3 area of the Multimedia Section of Mr. P's Castlevania Realm. He's got the entire soundtrack of every game in the series up to Lords of Shadow 1, as well as the several bonus albums like Dracula Battle and Dracula New Classic, as well as various fan albums (like Unchosen Paths and Vampire Variations), and even related-game soundtracks. It's where I get all my CV music.

It looks like I have most of the main series game music in terms of either rips or released albums. That link may help me with some missing pieces though. My issue now is making sure I have all the special discs and such. I'd like the Fan content as well (midi's and other extras). I could live without them, but it would give the collection an extreme fan feel.

I think for the time being, I will have to cross reference your page with KHInsider and Galbadia Hotel tracks. What I'll do, when all is said and done is see if I'm missing anything else and take a stab at asking you for it then.

Thanks for the help anyways.

Unfortunately, most of the MP3s were such low quality (~128kbps) that it wouldn't really matter to relink the files.

I've since been able to find some of the albums at 192kbps or higher, like the heavy metal Perfect Selection Dracula Battle albums. FF Shrine Forum is good for that sorta thing.

Forgive for the slight thread dig, but I have found the CV Chronicles stuff here as well. The VG museum is missing alot of tracks for it. The zip files seem to be corrupted after I download, so it would seem better to download them individually (and use a download manager to get everything)

The music files will not be back. Even though many of these albums are no longer in print, and Konami for some reason is really braindead about releasing their old albums (Falcom and Taito are much better at it), it's still music piracy. The site was allowed to get away with it back before digital music stores became a thing, but that's not really the case anymore. We even got in a little bit of trouble just for hosting the Order of Ecclesia bonus CD MP3s back when it came out.

It's really a shame, as the exceptionally complete music files were a large part of what made the site so great back in the old days.  I'd never even heard of Dracula New Classic or Dracula Battle before that.  Now they're some of my favorite OSTs of all time.
