So I was surfing on youtube and found this

Some gameplay with the dreamcast version

GunLord Dreamcast Limited Edition (region free) unboxing, intro, stages 1 and 2

the neo-geo version with gamester81

Gunlord (Neo Geo MVS) Review

And the first place where I found out about the game, it's good old classic game room with mark

Classic Game Room - GUNLORD review for Sega Dreamcast

It's very interesting that new games are being made for the dreamcast and even Neo-Geo it;s a shocker I did plan on buying a dreamcast, but now I want one even more due to the fact that a new game is on the system and neo-geo games cost people an arm and a leg so no, but I would love to own one the carts are monster size it's crazy  :o

So folks what are your opinions on this game heck does anyone have this game and if you do how is it I am all giddy a new awesome looking 2d game yeah I am there.

EDIT: The trailer for it

Hahaha, beingthehero, I was just about to say that XD I've heard a lot about this game and I *really* wanna try it out, since it seems to be named after me (not intentionally of course, lol). I don't have a dreamcast, though...I wish they released it on Steam or something for downloads ;_;

Looks pretty awesome. I have a Dreamcast, but the only games I have are Shenmue and Power Stone, and a few BoR homebrews on disc, so I'm sorely in need of some stuff for the system. I'll have to remember this one.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.

So Gunlord... you wanna tell us something about your life that we had absolutely NO idea about?  :)

Kidding aside the only question I want answered is... Is that the R-9?!? It even has the Bydo sphere attached to it's front! Is Vanessa our mystery pilot of the R-TYPE series that we never knew about?? Well from an analytical point of view this could pass as a pseudo sequel; essentually taking place in some alternate reality where the R-9 and it's pilot (Vanessa) Didn't return after her final victory against the Bydo Empire.

Yeah I'm aware that it isn't the R-9 but I think I'm not the only one here to do a double-take on it.

I'd buy a Dreamcast for this.
Reluctant fighting game, Mega Man/X, Dragon Quest, and Castlevania lifelong fan.

What do I do with all these Belmonts?

I really don't get why they chosen to do this - I mean, it's great for the hardcore Dreamcast community, but surely they'd make more money and gain more recognition if they ported this to Steam or something - seeing as the Dreamcast community must be fairly tiny at the stage in the game? As it stands, it's a very awesome looking game, very much indebted to Turrican (specifically the Super Turrican games).... I just don't understand the idea behind releasing it exclusively for DC.
If a man chooses, and a slave obeys, then what are you if you choose to obey?

I'd buy a Dreamcast for this.

Likewise seeing as the neo-geo version would cost you an arm an a leg.
