So at one point in time there was a comment here or two about way back when someone or their parents were using graph paper for nes games so well I did that and I'm having quite a pleasant time wit sq. Graphed some secrets yada yada. Overall it feels good. I want to do this with master blaster one day.

That was me, I think. First game my parents did it with was The Legend of Zelda on the NES.  :)

I've actually been meaning to buy myself some graph paper; I dunno why but it always seems to result in me having a ton of fun.

Two games i managed to map out using graph paper was Brandish and Brandish 2: The Planet Buster. At the time I couldn't find maps of them anywhere. So I took it upon myself to map out every single maze/floor of the games. Although this was mainly done in order to help me find everything, there are still some things in Brandish 2 that I've yet to locate  :P
