Check out this song from the Pumpkin's free to download album called "Machina 2".

I remember the first time I heard this song, it reminded of Castlevania 3 music. I think it would make awesome menu music in a CV game.

This reminds you of CV 3? No offense dude, but I think you got the wrong game on mind. It sounds like it came out of Haunted castle. The instrumentation used and the way the tune progresses is virtually identical if not exactly the same. It's a great sounding tune though. I think it would fit very well in the CV universe! Good find!  :D

Good call. It does actually sound more Haunted Castle-ish.  ;D

It kind of makes me wonder if Corgan was a Castlevania fan. Either way, he's definitely influenced by vampires. Anyone remember this video?

Oh ho ho! Now you're talking about one of my favorite bands, brother! And also one of my favorite albums.
I always really liked the tune "Real Love" from Machina 2, because it reminds me of boppy video game music. Perhaps nothing like Castlevania music... perhaps something more like high energy Mega Man stuff:

Shit, Billy is a master lyricist! I criticize him for a lot of stuff, but I'll never take that away from him.

Right on man! Same here. They'be been one of my favorite bands since way back when Siamese dream came out. I've been lucky enough to see them live 5 times plus Zwan. Met Corgan and Chamberlain twice too!

Yeah Machina 2 is awesome. Pumpkins have so much great b-side material too. Real Love is one of my Machina 2 favorites as well.

Did you get Oceania?

Reminds me more of Goonies II. Still a Konami game, though.

Didn't sound very creepy to me at all.

And yes, Goonies II music was creepy at times.
