v0.4 Change list:
-Zombie Soldier enemy added.
-Fixed skeleton enemy.
-Added basic knife weapon.
-Added battleaxe weapon.
-Added ball of destruction. (thing that climbs around platforms and hits you)
-Fixed a glitch with slopes that caused the game to think you were on slopes when you were not.
-Fixed jumpthrough platform collisions.
-Added title screen.
-Added room transitioning.
-Implemented attack and defense stats for player default 5.
-You can never hit less or get hit less then 1 damage.
-Fixed graphical glitch when ducking after doing an air kick.
-Redesigned the game. (subject to changes alot.)
v0.4 Notes:
-This is still an engine test mainly.
-The damage values done to you by enemies and your weapon damages are all still temporary. In the real game you will not start right off with all these weapons these are just what I have added and I gave them temporary damage values. Real values will be reflective on how late in the game you recieve the weapon and how rare/hard to get the weapon is.
Future plans:
-Planned stats are attack, defense, constitution. Whenever you kill a main boss these stats will automatically all go up by one. Otherwise you get them from leveling.)
-inventory.
-Money/shop/items.
-More enemies/weapons and adding armour/rings/etc.
-Map system.
-More player ablities.
-MP moves.
If you are a fan of Castlevania I recommend you check this out and follow this thread as I will be working hard on this game to hopefully make it something great. It is mainly an engine test at this point but content will be added soon.
Controls:
Z- Jump//Double jump/Fallthrough certain platforms
X- Attack
Down- Duck/Downwards kick (will be an ability you can find in actual game)
Left/Right- Movement
1, 2, 3 ,4, 5, 6,7,8 switch weapons. (temporary)
