I tried Ieyasu's CV game a long time ago, but could never finish it. It's difficulty was out of this world and not in the good way...at least for me. Plus the lack of items, whipable candles and vertical stage progression via stairs kinda made the game feel empty. It felt more like an enemy gauntlet rather then an old school classicvania considering it was almost nothing but enemies coming at you from every angle. But if you're renewing the project then maybe you could do much more with it.

Oops I almost forgot. Welcome to the Dungeon Mituhide!  :)

Hey Mituhide your friend Ieyasu's game is pretty awesome!! If your talking about Vampire,I played it a while back. I like the intro level before the water where you are riding the horse and being chased by a giant lion thingy. Yeah he had some pretty awesome ideas. I kept dying on the serpent beast though. I like the fact he made a lot of his own sprites or someone did. Very awesome!! I never finished the game so i don't know what happens. The last i remembered i was in a town and the boss of it was that serpent dragon.  Btw i think his title screen is really neat too.

As someone who is currently working on 2 projects myself i can totally appreciate it. One things i might suggest is for him to use some 3d primitives as backgrounds. This may add flavor to the game. Not too much but just enough to give it a little spice. Symphony of the Night is a good example of that.

I tested out his new game over at his japanese page(what is it called?). I think it's got a lot of potential. The fact it has 50 stages is pretty neat! I'd like to see the players when done. The one thing i would say is that the levels are way too hard even on easy mode. I mean i die in 2 hits on dracula. I like the idea behind it though. You have alot of neat enemies and bosses aswell that are coded well. Also i might suggest not mixing 8-bit sprites with 16 bit sprites. If it were me i'd stick with one or the other or maybe turn 8 bit sprites into 16 bit. His level ideas and stages seem pretty solid overall. Maybe adding a little parrellex backgrounds in would be nice! Overall a really good start imho! Very nice for your friend,Ieyasu, Mituhide!

BTw,Here are 2 projects i'm working on atm. Feel free to comment on them too. Any feedback is good feedback(helps me potentially fix issues). It can help me enhance our games aswell.
