Topic: Anyone here PS+ subscribers? Or know anything about it? Need help.

My brother subscribed to PS+ a while back, and I put his account on my PSP. Using that, I downloaded Gods Eater Burst off the free PS+ games. Anyway, just last week, his PS+ subscription expired, so I wasn't able to play the game anymore. Just last night, he renewed the subscription, but I still can't play the game. I tried just picking the game, connecting to the store then starting the game up, and even using the "Update" option which didn't do anything.

Anyway, anyone ever have a similar problem and found a solution? Help would be very much appreciated. I really don't wanna have to redownload the game because I have a really terrible internet connection in my new house.

you Should be able to play it again, try reinstalling it through purchase history

I'll try redownloading and reinstalling the game tonight, and see if that does anything. Really bummed though that I can't play it. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game and I really hope the second one comes here for the Vita.

I plan on buying this game on the Vita I'll eventually get, that and all the other "Claw" Oriented games like Phantasy Star Portable 2, MGS Peacewalker, playing them on emulator using a second joystick for camera is very comfortable...

Redownloading and reinstalling the game worked. I can play the game again. I was hoping to avoid doing that, but it had to be done, lol.

And yeah, the second analog stick sounds really nice, and it will definitely be something useful to use in the game. Though, Gods Eater Burst has a lock-on function that works mostly well (mostly, since sometimes you'll target the small fry off in the distance rather than the giant beast in front of you), so the camera control isn't entirely necessary. And Peace Walker uses camera control with the four face buttons and actually plays really well.

Hey Claimh! How's it been? I happen to catch this thread and i myself have ps3 and vita. I havent yet suscribed to ps plus. Mainly because with the vita alot of games are mediocre and the titles just arent their. With psp they still have alot of neat games availabe. But sadly none of the psp games are discounted through ps plus. Any games free on ps plus well....you've seen what can happen. So i'd say stay far away from free games and only go for discounted. Any themes or avatars you can keep free even if the ps plus is not renewed. Sadly Sony makes none of this very clear.

Hey, Las, been a while. I happen to enjoy PS+. It gets me to play games I probably wouldn't otherwise have played for a long time (Saints Row: The Third, for example, which is awesome). And if it's just a problem of having to reinstall my games in order to play 'em again, I don't really mind.

Though, the discounts are really nice too. Metal Gear Solid 3 HD for only $8? Hot damn. Even better is you can keep the discounted games after you purchase them.
