Pokemon...?

Tell me if this makes any sense at all. This morning, I was playing Pokemon Red on Gameboy Color, and I was training the level 0 ditto that I caught in the ocean, when suddenly:

What?
DITTO is evolving!

...

DITTO evolved into...KANGHASKAN!

Not only that, but my level 0 ditto evolved into a level 100 kanghaskan!

Makes sense if you consider that version of pokemon is plagued with buffer overflows and bad memory allocations.

The famous Mew bug happens because of bad memory management. Since these games were mostly written in ASM, screwing up like that is rather easy.

Assembly and C will both let you make a shotgun and aim it at your leg, they will both let you pull the trigger, and depending how you made the shotgun, it might blow up in your face.

That fact reveals the flaw.
When you mess around with the MissingNo glitch, you tend to mess up your game.

Yeah, I caught seven. Some were level 163, some were level 0, and some were level 80. I also caught some other things, but I'm not quite positive what they are... ???

I remember when I was in 8th grade, I was asking kids in school about that item copying cheat in Blue & Red.

Anyone I asked told me DO NOT CATCH MISSINGNO..but being the curious little kid that i was..*catches*..

I'm sure we've all done that and regretted it.

Yeah, it's messed up. I caught three more today, as well as a few of those other...things. They're not MissingNo, they're called *insert funky scribbles here* 'M *Insert more funky scribbles here*

It looks weird. Plus, in my party, all my Pokemon look like actual people! I have six human slaves to fight my enemies for me! ;D

I think I remember I heard that rumor about Missingno back when I played Pokemon.
I think it was something about swimming to a certain exact place, then fishing in that place, and then you can catch a Pokemon called Missingno. That sounded really cool, since I was curious to see that special Pokemon that's only caught using a glitch, but I was to lazy to go and try looking for that place.
But now that I hear that, I guess Missingno isn't anything special after all, ha? No super-cool "secret" pokemon with super powerful attacks? Bah, I was such a child. Can you at least describe me how does he look like?

He's a scribble. Literally. He doesn't really have a definite shape; it just looks like a really messed up glitchy game. Kind of what the Nintendo logo looks like when you try and play an extremely dusty Gameboy Advence game. It has no secret attacks. It actually only knows water gun and sky attack. :P
