This could possibly be a remake of the first Gradius, looks like they stuck Vic Viper's sprite from Gradius Gaiden in, hope this is multiconsole like Mega Man 9. This looks like a good trend so far, time to ride the retro wave even further.

GLARMPGH!!!  Here's my attitude of this news I came across earlier today.

First, I'm GLARMPGHed that I can't exactly put this into a box and store it like I would with my other NES tapes.

Okay, attitudes.

Second, if I wanted to play Gradius 1 with enhanced graphics, I'd play one of Redrum's hacks. ;p

How long until this Retro Wave (TM) comes to a crash, I wonder?  What's next...Mega Man 10 with 16-Bit graphics? '.'  I love thinking about 1997 and yesterday, but sheesh!  This seems soullessly trendy.  Like it's occuring ONLY because of Mega Man 9... :\
