Topic: R-Type Returns! Possibly in true Form?

As the link says, R-Type: Dimensions is coming to X-Box live arcade. While i loved Command, i would truly adore a new, true, R-type.

The downside...not being made by Irem but by some company named Tozai. Can't find a damn thing on them.

Yes...yes..i know it is sad. I'm just hoping that this unknown company is like the next treasure or something. (or at least they studied R-type 3 and Delta's level structure)

Whatever they do with this one, I hope the musical style is more like Super R-Type. Final's music was boring ass.

I really didn't mind Final.  It may be the worst in the series, but it's a damn fine series.  A new R-Type would be sweet!  I hope it gets released on PSN as well.

Hmm....i would like to add that i loved final as well. i never minded playing though countless times to get all the ships. (i.e. i didn't do the lvl 3 ship glitch to get the time lock ships) I mean, the game gave me the awesomeness that is the R-9W Wiseman and The R-9Sk Principalites. But after playing delta and R-type III, i can see the lack luster level design. Ok...im done defending myself.

Apparently they are working on a Lode Runner revamp for Live arcade as well....but its not out yet so we cant see their quality.
