Bump...sorry.

I borrowed this game from a friend and I'm about six hours into it.  I still think the controls are too loose, and the game is incredibly buggy.  (At least, the PS3 version is.)  I've fallen through walls a couple times, and I keep getting stuck inside the scenery in Felucia.  My combos carry me over the edge of cliffs every now and then, and sometimes the camera swings horribly in the middle of big fights.  So I think the game could've used another few months of playtesting.  And I hate it how every single Star Wars game has to re-use the music from the movies.  The bad part about that in this game is that the music is used in parts where it doesn't fit.  I mean, the Battle of Hoth music was written to mimic the pounding feet of the AT-ATs and AT-STs, but here it's thrown in in the middle of Felucia?  And why is there a Sarlaac (sp?), a desert native, in the middle of a swamp planet???

Anyway, the story is pretty cool.  You really get to like the main character, which is important considering what I know must be in store for him.  And using the different force powers never really gets old.  Best of all, the art direction is phenomenal.  Who knew a junk planet could look so gorgeous?  Overall it's a decent game with some serious flaws.  I know, I should reserve judgment until I've beaten the game, but some of these glitches can't be overlooked.  But I think I'll buy this when I can find it for $15 or so.

I gave up on Force Unleashed awhile ago. THe game is a mess. Are game companies so desperate to release stuff "on time" that they are content to let their games go out with glitches and such in them?

I still play Jedi Academy daily. There's this neat little mod called Movie Battlies II.

Oh, and I'll totally wreck anyone who opposes me in base JKA duels.
