Topic: Old-School Castlevania - World Record Speedrunning Stream

Hello everyone...wonder if anyone remembers me from Eric Roman's site way back in the day, haha.

Over the past couple years I've gotten into speedrunning and especially streaming, and over that time I've taken all of the world records in Castlevania 1/3/4 (all characters + solo Trevor in 3)...as well as an unofficial record on Haunted Castle.   I've also run a lot of less famous 8/16-bit games (e.g. Astyanax, Maximum Carnage, Jim Power in 3-D) - hell, my current project is Bad Street Brawler!

I've also gotten to play some of my games in the Speed Demos Archive charity marathons, which has been an awesome experience.  As a matter of fact, looking at the first marathon and seeing no CV3 or CV4 was what inspired me to start all this in the first place!  There are tons of great performances in every one of these, and I definitely recommend digging through the archives of past marathons if you aren't already familiar with them.

I stream around 2-4 nights a week at http://www.twitch.tv/srkfunkdoc, and my Youtube page is http://www.youtube.com/rashreflection .  After Bad Street Brawler I plan on improving my CV3 Grant speedrun, so I figured I'd let yall know now. =)  I'll most likely stream tomorrow night, so if you're a fan of punk rocker martial artists molesting circus midgets you've come to the right place!

I may or may not have a m2k2 account but I haven't been on there in forever.  Nate & co. are great guys though!

Anyway, today was way busier than I expected so no stream.  Definitely tomorrow night though, since I'll be done with grad school interviews + lab tours.

alright, some SDA people have helped me out and there's a chance my streaming problems may finally be over.  would love to finish up that bad street brawler run and move on to something more relevant to our interests...

i seem to have my streaming woes worked out now!  will go live in about 1-2 hours with more bad street brawler attempts.  if i get the record early we may even get to see some CV3!

I guess my cart was running a bit fast (less slowdown/lag, I suspect) the night i got sub-31, so I'm looking for around 31:00 as a legit time on Grant.  Also featuring some new webcam fun!
