Fanfic: Requiem of Brotherhood

My first ever Castlevania fic. It's about Luke Belmont (in the year 2012) who has go out to save his younger brother from the forces of evil. Note that this is an AU (Alternate Universe) fanfic. I'm not done yet, I'm still working on Chapter 5, so enjoy so far!

Wow, this is awful.

Quote from: the shit
The current guard, who was a vampire, kept watch on the young human as he paced back and forth. "Will you stop that?! You're getting annoying with that!"

Oh my god.

Maybe it's genuine dislike.... I don't see a problem with saying that, though it's a bit harsh... being informative would help more.

I ... just can't read anything without comedy.

Advice? You can't even put out a coherent thought, let alone one that actually pertains to the topic at hand apparently. You're not exactly qualified to be a backseat moderator.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that this is poorly-written garbage that was likely thrown together by someone who's either in middle school or has taken very few (if any) high school english courses. It's ridiculously redundant, there's no structure, the dialogue is god-awful, and the plot is mundane and acts little more as a platform for the writer to act out some weird fantasy.

In short, this is a prime example of awful deviantart fanfiction. This isn't trolling, it's being realistic.

Corneliab, there are plenty of ways to convey your feelings about someone's work without grinding them into the ground. Even if you do not care for their writing style or composition, I am almost certain you could be a bit less caustic in your opinions regarding the subject matter.

I am not saying you should not have your own independent thoughts when it comes to critiquing other peoples' work. I am merely stating that you can give them your ideas and, perhaps, some useful feedback sans the attitude and drama. I hope you can take this "weekend off" that I am bestowing upon you to think about what I have said and hopefully make some adjustments to your posting style accordingly. Thanks, and have a wonderful day.

Excuse me...high school? Middle school? I have not been there since 2005. Keep your thoughts to yourself
