I know how to make songs loop seamlessly, and as far as I know, if you get AAC files, you can get them to loop indefinitely.
Not sure what the PS3 is allowed to play, though.

I get what you guys mean... but it's not the same as having some kind of in-game thing.
You're talking about tricking the game out by turning down the music in-game and then playing stuff off of the PS3's music menu.
It... that won't work for me.  I mean, it does literally work, but it doesn't work for me, potentially.  The songs will all end and not loop right, they won't play right during the boss battles unless I specifically go play a song, etc.

I was thinking more like replacing the music altogether or something.  This is just playing the jukebox while having the music disabled.

It's still something, and really cool in some parts. Like that part where you're running across the chain, I played Dracula's Theme from CV4 (editted to cut out the lightning bolt). Was REALLY awesome. Allow yourself to enjoy it and you can.

Sort of off-topic, but this song came up at random on my ipod the other day, and I thought it kind of captured the mood of the game:

Dimmu Borgir - Alt Lys Er Svunnet Hen (2006 remake)

Awesome first couple of minutes. It gets faster after that and kind of loses its charm, though.

I don't think I would realistically play any other music while I'm playing this game, though. The in-game music is adequate, and even though it's repetitive, I'd say I enjoy it, I guess.
It's like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but instead it's Who Wants Fried Chicken? I do.
