Topic: Rusty Hearts = Castlevania 3D Online????

I wonder if this is meant to be a sequel to that PC88 game Rusty. Its anime influence, hot chicks, and Castlevania-esque enemies (not sure about the environments yet) lead me to believe the naming wasn't just a coincidence.

From the look of it, it seems like a LoI type deal which, being a beat-em-up at its core, will naturally be great with a bunch of friends to play with. (And many loots to get.)

Shit... I'm hopping in to bed now, but if anyone wants to join me, I'll be down for playing this sometime tomorrow. (It's FTP.)

Looks like a mix between DMC and Castlevania (in other words, the PS2 vanias)
I'll give it a try, I just hope its not like perfect world (made by same people) which was kinda bland

Might be a possibility however so far it's just the name for us to go on. Rusty was made by C-Labs while Rusty Hearts is done by Perfect World. I'd have to do some digging around before I can make a final call on my thoughts with this one.

Looks like it might be cool. Definitely takes real world source material for it's backdrop in much the same way as CV. And the Dead-Man-Society-Wachamacallit-thingy really seems inspired by Death's actions at the beginning of SotN.

It's more like Devil May Cry with Castelavania inspired art direction.
my only beef with this game is that the Action could be more fluid and Faster.
but this is an open beta. So yeah! I hope they implement those tweaks.

Its odd cause its not bad yet it feels like a ps2 game of some kind... I dunno how much lasting appeal it can have. It gets really repetitive really quick

I started playing... Playing as BlueShark (Tude character)

It's fun. I'll probably play it til Torchlight 2 is out.

EDIT: And btw I do agree that it's sort of CV 3d online, but it's the PoR cv.
