which line is better:Q1: ''die monster! you don't belong in this world!'' or ''what is a man?! a miserable little pile of secrets!''
Q2:''your words are as empty as your soul!'' or ''it was not by my hand that i am once again given flesh.''                     Q3: ''you steal mens souls! and make them your slaves!'' or ''perhaps the same could be said of all religeons...''

The entire exchange?
Agreed.  It doesn't make sense unless you have the entire exchange.

I personally like Dracula's: ''It was not by my hand line" it just sounded very i dunno, vampirish.

Thats all fine and dandy, but, it doesnt really make sense without THE ENTIRE EXCHANGE.

You are asking us to pick and chose from a whole conversation? a conversation which is famous specifically in its entirety?

"Die monster", "You don't belong in this world", and "But enough talk, have at you" all appeared in later games as homage to this conversation, so they're one liners that can exist out of context.

These kind of things are what makes the PS1 translation the best SoTN could have ever received.

I find myself saying "Perhaps the same can be said of all religions," from time to time, when the situation warrants it.

i think the bad acoustics in the voice acting make the dialog have moar nastogic value. :)

I get a hoot whenever I hear "Once again given flesh!" Yeah I know that's only the final part of that one dialog. But after hearing that little mock interview that was uploaded to the dungeon over a decade ago I can't help but giggle every time i hear it. Here's the excerpt:

Interviewer: So Dracula, what did you get for Christmas?

Dracula: Once again given flesh!

Interviewer: Ohhh-kaaaay
"Spirituality is God's gift to humanity...
Religion is Man's flawed interpretation of Spirituality given back to humanity..."
