So, I downloaded this awesome-looking fan game. But I can't run it. It shows this message every time I run the .exe file:

"The terms of the End User Licence Agreement for Visual C++ Introductory Edition do not permit redistribution of executables you create with this product."

Could somebody help me get it to run?

I found this http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=8945&lngWId=3

Also in a message board some people were having the same problem with another game and a couple said it works normally after clicking OK

You're playing my game?  Awesome.
The game should run after you hit the Enter key.
If it doesn't, try this version.

Hey Jorge, is there still a chance you may start working on this project again?

I need someone who is:

1. Proficient at Microsoft Visual C++ with the DirectX SDK
2. Ready, Willing, and Able to work with the existing code, and willing to communicate with my previous programmer, who can provide support and documentation.

That's it!

Most people, however, either:
-don't want to work with existing code.
-are too stubborn or unwilling to communicate with the original programmer
-are just not that good with Microsoft C++
-want to use OpenGL instead of DirectX
-think they're too good to work with the code, and instead want to rebuild the entire thing, which I feel is a waste of valuable resources.

I don't need any of that.  I can work with programmers and provide logical and idea support, as well as provide backgrounds, sprites, and music.  I also do storyboarding and 3D Designs so really, the only setback is that no one wants to continue, everyone wants to start over from scratch or not at all.

I do find it a real shame cause I think if this game were to be finished I'd be dynamite!

Religion is Man's flawed interpretation of Spirituality given back to humanity..."

What am I supposed to do with that?

Mine just closes the game after I click OK.

I'm having my programmer recompile the code using a version of Visual C++ which won't generate that nag message.
Stay tuned for an update.
