Because it's a metroidvania with HD Vanillaware style graphics, Working Designs atmosphere and humor, and Devil May Cry style combat. I'm 8 hours in and it's great.

I remember hearing about this game YEARS ago, and it kinda just went off my radar cuz the development was taking a while. So it's finally released huh? It looked pretty cool, with sexy graphics and even sexier play style. I'll look into it. But I never said thank you. And you'll never have to. *flies away*
