I can't be the only one who ever wondered what the hell is going on here. All I can tell is that it looks like the Virgin Mary with blood running down her head, and it seems like those are body parts lining the bottom.

It's just a demonization of a classic Mary image. That's all.

This is VERY interesting...
I never saw that. It's disturbing, in a fascinating way.

They fascinate me too, they are one of the things that contribute the most to a stage's beauty.

That makes sense if we account that empty space as a censor bar.

Never really thought about it before. Looking at it now, it seems like one of those old paintings depicting Hell with a lot of naked/dead people. And a bloody looking Mary because Dracula is just that anti-establishment.

At her feet though, between what looks like demon horns... I know I'm really, really reaching but it looks like ovaries, like one of those old pen and ink drawings from an anatomy class. Maybe an allusion to what caused him to become Dracula in the first place (an innocent woman being killed)?

Iunno. Fun to speculate, though. Looking at the stuff outside what's obviously Mary is kind of like one of those ink blot tests.

Awesome.  :o Jorge, think you can do one for the mural in Blackmore's boss room in OOE? Might be hard to make out, but maybe it can be done.
