Ah, okay. I just heard they got added content. I didn't hear about the release area or otherwise since the demo was good but I hear the game was easy and pretty short.

Also, if any of you post spoilers in this thread (Like I know some people here like to do) I will find out where you live, and drive my fucking car through your house.

I bet you if there is a shift in power of the console wars in the America (i.e. the Ps3 taking Xbox's exclusives,) some ppl will blame xenophobia on Japan.  It is already happening on Joystiq.com whenever someone mentions why the Xbox isn't sold there.  *sigh*

Not trying to continue a bash, but the reason why the Xbox doesn't do well in Japan (as well as Europe, which those who claims racism, ignores,) is because the games are caters to western audience for the 360.  It would take time for the majority of japan to adjust to western games.

I mean, in america, dubbed anime has been out for decades, but as of the late 90s-early 0s', it has finally been recongized by mainstream america.  Ppl who are saying Japan is Xenophobic because the 360 doesn't sell better there are idiots.  The ipod sells better than the sony's mp3 player over there and they are still xenophobic because the Xbox 360 doesn't sell well.  Sorry, but I venting my anger from the ignorance posts I read on Joystiq and not here.

Anyway, for those who tried to get the free dvd cover from advfilms site like me, may not have any luck in doing so since the official DMC anime site doesn't exist and there is no mention of DMC on the adv website.  I think vol 1 is the only one we would get.  A shame since despite the anime seems lackluster compared to the game (who can blame them since the anime seems to be intended as filler cases of sorts where Dante does some demon hunting as day job as oppose to doing it because it has something to do with him or his father;) it gives us a glimpse of what Dante does for a living other than trying to resolve something in his past.

However, I think I like the dubbed version over the subtitle one, which is rare for me.  I was a bit curious on how they would alter the lines to make Dante more "acceptable" to english speakers; I seen a fansub of the first episode months ago and wasn't sure if the lines that Dante said in the opening scene of ep 1 would be translated faithfully since he said "Mr. Royal Flush" and "Bingo," would sound right in english. To my suprised, the lines were kept in the US dubbed and were pulled off nicely;  I was suprised and because of this,  I liked the dubbed version thought I might bias since the english is "officially the real version" simply because the games are in english even in Japan and the voice actor who does Dante in the anime, also voiced Dante in DMC3 and DMC4.
Usually, I like subtitle over dubbed.  However, I think they did a good job on the dubbed.

Also, another shocker to me that the localization of the anime doesn't suffer much in terms of dialoge. In some anime, mostly those dubbed by 4kids and Pioneer/Geneon had the entire dialogue rewritten with american pop culture references and  "new" information added into make it "acceptable" to english speakers. Those are the dubs I tend not to like since it isn't true to the eyes original staff

Sorry Kale that I consider 3rd person shooters still shooters You're doing the exact same thing, 'cept it's from a different perspective. So quick to bash you guys are, simmer down and go play as Nero more or something O.O.

I wish I didn't read the Nero saves Dante thing. Seems like a good idea to make the main character of DMC look kinda weak(in this game) and need saving by a guy who looks slightly different than him. Weird.

Oh, and I don't own a PS3. Gimme money over Paypal and I'll go gladly buy one, though.

True, except you said "FPS", not "shooters."  Also, PFG was joking about that Dante thing.

So I'm guessing you are saying Devil may cry and Ninja Gaiden are FPS too then, since in Ninja Gaiden you use a bow that you do the same thing with, shoot. As well As Devil May Cry, the first atleast but hey, the ones after that you shoot at 3rd person too! I guess they are FPS's now that I applied your logic to it.

I can see I'm wrong now. Thanks for making me see the light, as one would say.

Ah that's good to hear, 'cause that sounded damn strange.

Yeah I mean, you don't even get a crosshair in DMC when you shoot people, it just highlights them with a weird circle thing, silly ass auto-aim feature. Nothing like shooting someone then slicing them with your sword, FPS style. Wait? what're we talking about now? Max Payne? He had swords too y'know, but most of the time he only had access to bats when killing people, other than his gun.

Sometimes I wish I had enough red orbs to upgrade my sword, so I could be on the same level of Sparda, and one shot everyone, especially when I level up my gun so I can get 100% headshots.

Beat Devil Hunter mode recently, and unlocked that "secret" ending before I even knew it was a secret *thinks about ending pose*...so, this whole time, DMCIV was really just a sequel to Charley's Angel's.
I'd play Son of Sparda mode, but I'm about to hit EXTREME STUDY ADVENTURES!!  In other words, my schedule is going to be jam-packed if I don't start getting even more serious about my studies then I already am...*looks both ways* plus , I just picked up King of Fighters XI...
