Anima Gate of Memories Gameplay Teaser

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1353316830/anima-gate-of-memories-extended-campaign

So I'd recently stumbled upon this while browsing through tabletop games. It's a hack and slash RPG based on the Anima: Beyond Fantasy universe (originally a role-playing book franchise) that boasts a few interesting gothic overtones. It's been funded twice on Kickstarter -- its extended campaign ended a few weeks ago -- and it looks surprisingly well-polished for a spinoff video game. From what I've gathered, it's got a neat character-switching system, and it seems to sport some decent skill depth to boot.

All in all, it looks like a game worth following. And who knows? Maybe it'll satisfy that itch LoS2 failed to scratch.

Huh, looks pretty neat, though a bit cartoony for something that's supposedly gothic. Still dig it though.
Also, did I spy a switch cancel?
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Cartoony you say? I'll call in his defence the name Vagrant Story........

Vagrant Story is aesthetically darker than this. This one has a little bit of cel shading going on in it.

Yes, but i believe that if there was ever a HD version of Vagrant Story, the graphics would have been like this.
