For anyone interested in watching live speedruns on Twitch.tv, Castlevania II has gained a lot of popularity and is actively being ran by two streamers.

They often steal the world record from each other and it's fun to watch all the strategies and fun glitches they use.  The current world record is 33:35 by JC.  I often see them online during the evenings and very early mornings.

If I was still playing CV II as often as I was in the past my record would hover somewhere around a half hour or so. Also one of the ways I cut down on my time was to skip buying the thorn whip and moving on to the chain whip instead.

Is this the one with the trolling hidden ledges and that really obscure thing where you have to equip a certain item and crouch in a certain location for a certain amount of time in order to progress?

I'm scared of playing that game.
