Shortest way to Walk Armor?

I started playing SOTN with the idea of not using any glitches at all and decided to find a way to get the Walk Armor as soon as possible and trying to avoid as much rooms as possible to max it DEF the more i can without glitches (get out of the castle or resetting the map). I did it in just 318 rooms but i think is possible to do with less map coverage. What do you think? How do you think can i improve this? Is there a faster way to get it (Legally)?.

Hmm. Never tried. But I'd assume that you would only go to areas out of necessity since they have the required items.

Yeah don't think we have many if any SOTN speed runners here. You might have more luck on a dedicated speed running forum.
