Authenticating Rondo of Blood

So, I, like many of you do I imagine, collect Castlevania stuff, not only the games, but the soundtracks and alike.

So a couple of years ago I bought some stuff of E-bay (yes, I now realize that's not the place to go). Long story short, my SotN, LoI and CoD records are bootlegs... Which sucks, but I didn't put down THAT much cash for them, so I'm ok.

However, I also got my copy of Rondo off e-bay, and while it looks the deal, is there any way to authenticate it for sure?

Thanks guys

If it looks like it's good and you can't tell a diff. I don't understand, why the need for authentication?

Chances are it's probably real. I got mine from ebay too (although as a gift. Free Rondo Wooo!). Anywho, the case, the booklet everything from mine is real. I think that if you bought the game as just the disc, no case or book, then it's probably fake. Or maybe if you got it from Singapore or China.

But really, if there's nothing that would point out that it's fake, you probably shouldn't worry
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Thanks for your thoughts.

The disck, booklet (which was slightly damaged) and case all look the deal. Ofcourse, bootleggers can do a real good job, my CoD and LoI cd's are near perfect, just missing the Konami logo and sporting the telltale Miya records one instead. But I guess it's good until proven otherwise.

Thanks

If I'd payed less than that I wouldn't have cared that much if it was fake :P Needless to say, I payed quite a bit more.

I compared all the shots from the dungeon (manual and all) and it all seems identical, so I think I'm good. Also the cd number (written on the manual, cd and case seems legit, but maybe someone would bother to check if their's is the same? KMCD3005, thanks guys :)

Obsessing over this stuff (and posting results online) just means the terrorists pirates win.  So relax, and just enjoy the game, yes?

Lots of the fakes coming out of other countries should be pretty obvious ones, so yeah.

Yeah, you're right. What does it matter? If it looks real, plays as it should, and is otherwise great, why should you care if its official or not? It's still awesome.

Yep. What you don't know, won't hurt you.

Unless it's actually fake and of low quality so it stops right after you beat the final stage and you never get to see the ending. Or worse, it stops before the final stage.

Which isn't likely.
