What yall think of this game? I bought it to help out my store. (work at blockbuster) and I think it sucks. I can beat almost evey song except the last 5 on expert in Guitar hero 3 and I can't even get past the 6th one in this one. They picked like the shittiest opening songs too. I mean difficulty normally isn't a problem and normally I love hard games but they made like every song go so damn fast I can't read what I'm supposed to be hitting and there are only 1 -5 single button notes in each song tops, all the rest are double and triple note chords and if you miss one note, you end up missing like 10. I'm getting to where I really hate activision. I shouldn't be struggling this much with like the 6th song when I can beat 1 and 2 on expert and beat every song but 4 on III.  The last 4 songs in GHIII (minus metallica) were bullshit and require superhuman skills to  beat especially raining blood which was nothing more than just slam 4 note riffs at 1/100th of a second for 4 minutes. That's just fucked up. they need to focus more on making the games fun and addicting too, Aerosmith is nothing more than another nes silver surfer.

Oh! What would a Guitar Hero thread be without a post like that!? Thank you!

And no, I haven't tried it yet. I really don't like Aerosmith save for a few songs.

$30 for a few more songs = gay.

Ever since the real developer handed it over, it's become an obnoxious whore.

I like Aerosmith and all, but not Guitar Hero, I'd rather see someone pick up a real axe and make it squeal.

I dont like Aerosmith enough to care but my friend is a huge fan of them and he got it asap. We played Rockband the other night and I used that new Aerosmith guitar and liked it so much I went out today and got the non band branded one for ps2 just like it. I love GH and Rockband tho. Just not fan enough of Aerosmith to even DL the game =/

aerosmith were great once upon a time, but then they stopped doing drugs and stayed together long enough to reach the 90's.

actually they broke up in 79-84. Yeah their songs are nice but the way they implemented them in the game is horrible this should be a nice relief from Guitar Hero III meant to be played when your tired of getting your ass handed to you in raining blood and the other songs in the last quartet that are ludicrously hard and easier to play on a real guitar, not even more torturesome, people don't want to be continually beat down every time a new game comes out, hard is good but you have to know when to stop, anybody can make an impossible game but it takes real skill to make a game that is insanely hard but keeps you coming back trying to beat it and aerosmith sure doesn't do that with all the repetitive crazy hard chunks. That's all your doin' the whole game is just playing one or two insanely hard chunks over and over again at superhuman speed that hurts your eyes to follow with just enough added double and triple note segments here and there to totally fuck you up and have you screaming at the TV cuz you know if the song's just a fraction of a millisecond slower with the constant fuck up notes added in there you could hit everything, but it's coming so fast that when the fuck up notes come you don't have time to register the  new finger position until you've missed those 2 or 3 notes, which results in you missing the next 10 and struggling to get the crowd on your side again.

Thanks for adding to the thread, you look much cooler now btw.  I like guitar hero, but agree that aerosmith does not warrant there own game.  Luckily a new "real" guitar hero is coming out. <3

I know right! And while we're at it, lets stop playing all our other favorite video games and start actually (for real)

-Stepping on turtles
-Breaking open walls to find meat
-Try to rip people's heads off with our bare hands
-Slamming our heads on bricks to obtain money
-Try to eat blue ghosts

Also, Spindash.
