I, too, would like to know what Mathias does for the next 380 or so years.  All we know is that in that time period he falls in love with Lisa, fathers a child (Alucard), Lisa dies, and Drac (Mathias) begins to slaughter humans.
all of that happens during the last few years before cv3. lisa dies in 1470, while young/teenage alucard is forced to watch her die. a bit later drac finds out, goes batshit insane and starts his war against humanity, and eventually in 1476 trevor and co manages to kill him for the first time.

Then again, this may only happen after Lisa is killed by humans.
by then drac starts his war and is killed off by trevor.

since then he only returns for few minutes every so often when someone resurrects him to have his ass handed to him by belmonts and die again.

plus the anniversary thing said that during the 300+ years he was amassing his powers probably to ascend from a vampire into the opposite of god, dark lord.

and then as far as i remember it added something about the souls of other vampires that were killed by belmonts being used to strengthen him.

Curious if some abstracted a "puppet" version of Dracula's spirit. Some are known to be able to control others. (even non-living beings)

Still has me curious about Soma (and if he can possibly have kids?) Sure its the future, but there's still so many plotholes left open with 99' and more.

Soma isn't drac's child. He is drac's reincarnation.

I would laugh my head off if Soma eventually becomes the dark lord and then has a child with Mina.  If that happens, I wouldn't be suprized if that child became like Alucard (a person who has to kill his/her father and ends up a emotionally distant individual who will possibly never know happiness).  And don't say it can't happen.  With IGA in charge of castlevania, anything could happen.  I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just saying that it's possible.  Trust me, I don't want that to happen.  I would just find it funny (and disappointing).

No, he'll go on to make a new short Manga/Anime series and forget about Castlevania. It'll be something sick and insane... and involving eating potato chips... very dramatically.

Where does it say Lisa died in 1470?

http://uk.geocities.com/nec43xkq3/cvsl.html

The translation given is:
"1470's: Lisa, Dracula's second wife, is condamned to death by the Inquisition (for being convicted to be a witch)."

However, if we want to try to fit Legends in (as I would like to), Lisa's death would probably have had to happen before 1450.

That website left out Portrait of Ruin.  Maybe it was compiled before that game was released.  My only question is:  How old was Alucard when Lisa died?  Also, how old was she?  Considering that this event affected Alucard so much and how young Lisa looked in Alucard's nightmare in SotN, I would think that Alucard was a teenager at the time.  However, in the SotN manual, it is stated that Alucard is about 400 years old.  Meaning that if Lisa was executed in 1470, Alucard would be at least 100 and Lisa would be dead from old age, that is unless Drac did something to give her an endless life span and eternal youth without taking her humanity.  But that is unlikely.  So, can someone explain this??
