Olrox.

I think Olrox is a really stylish character/boss. He's spectacular and costly made. He somehow seems like a really important character, but there is not a single line dialogue with him, nor are there any specific infos ather that that he's a magic-using vampire who is the ruler of the upper castle.

Is there anything more about him somewhere? Perhaps any japanese manual-stuff or something? I'm so curious about him.

It's posters like this that make the Castlevania fandom, particularly those that tend to fester on this board, so hellishly obnoxious.

Anyways, I saw that video a few years ago, and really got a kick out of it. As for the issue of Olrox himself in SotN, the game does not really make him out to be much more than a standard boss. He doesn't seem to have any relevance to the story, or in how it's presented.

I think tha Orlox (like the most interesting Iga's characters) is really missed, Orlox is supposed to be Dracula's Friend, he have is own zone at Symphony of the Night, but when you reach it you just fight him and nothing more happens.

Also you can have his suit in DoS.

I bet, he normally is friedly towards Alucard. He only tried to kill him, because he destroyed his table in the strategy-video.

I don't think Drac has anything like a friend or something. Maybe even Death only makes use of him to harvest the souls of the countless men who die by his hands. I always thought that Death is something like a slave to the gods who has to harvest souls as a punishment or something. Maybe once he has harvested enough, he can get free and become the new dark lord or something.

...nah, sounds like crap.

some people claim death is a slave/servant to the one who owns the crimson stone.

I thought Itagaki claimed that in LoI >.>

Its been a while, but I could've sworn that Death says, I serve the master of the Crimson stone. Of course that canbe taken in many different ways... but that's what I thought when I heard it.

In regards to Death, according to the monster encyclopedia in LoI, he is a soul-hunting being who is loyal to the owner of the crimson stone.  However, it isn't explained why this is the case.  This relationship between Drac and Death would explain how Drac becomes the "lord of all vampires."  All he has to do is have Death collect the souls of defeated vampires, thus increasing his power is tremendously increased.

As for Olrox, I have no idea in regards to him.  To me, he just seems to be another boss without any important part.
