For some reason, I think it says Christopher Belmont in the select screen.

Looks pretty cool to me. Also, as I said before, I really like the way the exterior castle looks in this one. That design is about perfect and the shots of it at the end of the bridge before you fight Death look great.
*I'm not a newbie...I had several hundred posts with this screenname on the old board*

I have a strong feeling that 90% of people here in CV dungeon don't play in arcades. :P

I strongly hope for a customization-data card for this.

WOW!! That was awesome!! Please Konami port it to the Wii or 360 or PS3 with its own special controls or something. Holy crap that fight with Death was Epic!!

Looks awesome. But the whole on rails deal? Meh.

Still is worthy of porting to the Wii or another Next Gen system that can support it. This is only the beginning, one day there will be an action adventure game like this possibly.

with the rails, you don't gotta worry about creature stabbing you from behind.  it'll turn you if you need to.

This is the closest thing to an official page so far I think.

What's a location test?
It appears to be already closed, or ended.

They take the game, in a completed, or nearly completed state, and send it off to select arcades. They let people play it, comment on it, see how much interest is generated, etc.

Weird no one has posted more videos of the game. When is it that it comes out?

Man, all I can say is it's about damn time. The moment I saw an arcade machine with a samurai sword plugged into it in Japan, I knew a Castlevania game couldn't be far behind.

This game looks AWESOME! I really hope they figure out some way to bring it to a home system. If it were released on the Wii, I might actually consider buying one.  :o

The artwork for the character in the top left looks possesses or like he's about to turn into a vampire Castlevania 64 style.
