So the only thing that can hold your interest for more than a day is pointing and clicking, with tedious and endless grinding.

No reason to be so butt-hurt, dude. But I honestly can't find anything enjoyable at all about MMOs. The fact that they hold your attention more than anything else is no measure of quality. The games still suck.
Oh yeah, and also:

Soda as well.

I've actually never played an MMORPG. It just doesn't sound that interesting really. If I ever were to play a game in the genre, I'd obviously go for WoW because there's no way that game is THAT terrible when it has enjoyed so much critical and commercial success.

I don't trust hardcore gamers when they go on about how popular games automatically suck, just because they're too popular. Instead they always recommend some obscure clone only they know of. Or games that are just plain bad. Like "OMG Don't play Mario games, they are teh suck!! Play Hudson's Adventure Island instead!".

Thanks but no thanks.

There must be greatness within WoW. Even if it's not necessarily my cup of tea. But neither is jazz music, but I wouldn't go around saying Billie Holiday sucks just because I personally don't like that kind of music. That's sorta how I feel about stuff'n stuff!

But no, a Castlevania MMORPG is not on the top of my list.

Eh.... I didn't like what I played when I played WoW, I didn't play much and I hear it gets better later but I seriously can't play that long.

I might just be too spoiled from UO thuogh.

Not ALL MMOs are like that. Maybe the shitty asian ones and the FTP trash games with real money item stores and shit but WoW for example is nothin like that.

I would go with a Litsorc or Meteorb Sorc and name her Yoko Belnades or something. Oh wait, I already did that.

MMORPGs are good in a way. They keep all the weaklings indoors.

I've lost count of how many friends I've lost because they would rather play WoW all fucking day than communicate with anyone else in the outside world.

It's really utterly pathetic. The REAL sad part is, World of Warcraft isn't that good of a game at all. EVERY SINGLE QUEST is the same. Go here, kill these monsters, return to me, or you have the go here, kill these monsters, bring me back what they drop variety.

So yeah, fuck MMORPGs, and everything to do with them. If I want to level up, I'll do it in real life by accomplishing my goals.

Well, I often stay indoors to play. Not MMORPGs, but single player games. Mostly because gaming is a hobby of mine and parties are not. At least not at the disco. If friends do a party at their home or something, I shure show up too.
I just don't get why people are weaklings just because they have different hobbies than you. Unless you only mean WoW-guys. It's not their hobby, they're just addicted.

I see.. You're right. Those WoW-addicts should also take up illegal drugs as well.
