Yeah, I agree. Everyone thought this game was a cruel hoax at first, then the next PoR, but wow, they really surprised us...this is a darn good CV gaem. :D :D :D

Yeah, I remember people dogging the first screens, saying stuff like, "Oh man, they are frickin' reusing PoR backgrounds!" and such.

BTW, does anybody remember the first screens with the little circle around the crab boss and someone translated the name "Blackula"? I recall people thinking that was more proof that it was a hoax. It wasn't until I fought the boss that I now think they mistranslated it as "Blackula", but it was "Brachyura". ;D

Brachyurga looked crappy on the first screens, but now it's BEAUTIFUL. :o

Is the master ring good?  I don't want to go through the trouble of getting it if it isn't worth it.

I wouldn't say it's on par, but better.

Yeah, I've been kind of torn. I want to say it is but I think my nostalgia won't let me, thus, I think they're equal

I like it better than SOTN.  But then I liked Dawn, CV3 and DXC's Rondo better than that game too. Nothing will ever take CV3's place as my favorite, but I'll admit: this is now my second favorite game in the series.

I care what no person says: I like the story. No happy go lucky, cliche` ending or lame *** protagonist that make you want to punch him or her in the face. Yeah, Barlowe being evil was seen coming hell, before E3.  ;D But the way it was done was nice.  I like that Shanoa didn't end up being related to anyone and her lost memories held more importance than just "And oh yeah: She's a Belmont.  Or distant relative. Or whatever.", the town of Belmonts was o_0 but okay, and the entire thing with Albus pretty much speaks for itself.  Dracula 'hits' on the protagonist, Barlowe is ****** up, and Shanoa's smile while she smiled at the end? I'll admit, the ending made me kinda...soften up there...

:cough:

Anywho, the music rocks, the graphics are awesome, I am in LOVE with the castle parts of the game, some of the villager dialog was funny, and honestly, I haven't liked bosses this much in a CV for a while.  Blackmore is like my favorite boss now...that isn't Death. Or Dracula. The difficulty wasn't even nearly as bad as it was made out to be either: certainly more of challenge but I actually had more fun figuring out ways to beat the **** out of things in the game.

Heck, even the quests were decent in this game, considering more than a few of them were worth bothering to do. (Like all of Abram's.) The VA's were good, kinda makes me wish all of the conversations were voiced though.  There's my nitpick about the game.

Sure, a few stages were rehashed but it wasn't bad enough for me to honestly complain about.  And all the fighting game references in it are only a plus. And someone on IGA's team apparently likes King of Fighters, which is always, a plus.

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

I totally like Eligor. One of the more tactical destroy-part-one-to-exploit-weakness-at-point-two-type bosses. Really cool.

Also, are there any optional levels and bosses? And if so, where are they?

Right. Something like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PW8JAesL9PE or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFkjHQSlFag would have fit. But meh, it didn't work with death either, also I like that song, so it's ok.

I was really surprised Death played absolutely no role in this game.

Also, are there multiple endings in this game?

If you finish Hard mode lv50, you get queen of the hearts. It reduce hearts consumption 50%.

Now, if you finish lv1 hard mode, increase the max lv you can get for Shanoa up to 255.

Now, two questions from me.

First: How can i level up familiars?

Second: At the sound test, you can hear a song named Gate of the Underworld, but i have never hear it inside the game and it doesn't playing even at Albus mode. What is the meaning of this song?

1-absorb more glyphs of the same type with the familiar out. for example, if you have medusa head familiar out, absorb like 16 more medusa head familiar glyphs to level up. you can level up until level 3, which is 32 glyphs from the start.

2-yeah, some tracks didn't seem to be used. that one, and i don't remember 31 or 32 (armory arabesque and dos hammer's theme) used either, unless they're wifi only.
