It doesn't look like anything but a wild fan re-imagining that strays too far from the core feeling of the IGA series.
Everyone has a different feeling.
Most of castlevania was IGA then the rest of it was that other guy and some other guys who had different visions.
So you could say you liked it.

if this is a CV title, i do hope it "feels" different than the PS2 games.

Since when are Kojima's people bad at combat systems unless they have guns?

I won't get excited until it's proven true or false. Dunno how to feel about it honestly. On the one hand, I'd really like to see how it could turn out.

i'm having a hard time thinking of the Alucard game and LoS as the same game.  i suppose Alucard could be the main villain that Gabriel goes up again.

let's review LoS's storyline and pretend for now that it fits in the Castlevania storyline.  they took down their web site temporarily, so I can't reread it, but i do recall it is the "end of days" and that there's some kind of evil beings that have come to reclaim the Earth or something like that.  Judgment speculated why a being such as Death would willingly serve Dracula and maybe it was the will of a higher power.  was Dracula unwittingly keeping these Shadows at bay?  now, Drac's gone, and these things are here?  we have 10,000 years of history to get through before we get to Galamoth's main time period.  i'm gonna guess this takes place maybe 1000 years in the future in a post-apocalyptic world.

Like, after the Soma era collapses, mayhaps? Then we're just REALLY inching towards the Vampire Hunter D scenario CastleVania was inspired by!  Coming full circle, anyone?  (If  that idea turned out to be true, that is.)

What about Julius' game? :[

Anyway, whatever that trailer was, my jaw dropped and my tongue launched into the table the moment that guy let those flames fly!  Bloody awesome!!!

I actually wouldn't mind this game taking place during the time between LoI and CV3, where IGA hinted the Belmonts would NOT meet Dracula, but kept busy hunting "other" vampires and evil threats.

well, Castlevania could certainly stretch its legs and remain true to its atmosphere if it did take place in a post-apocalyptic world.

Why would you have to edit it?

Honestly if this is true I wouldn't have any qualms if it interferes with IGA's "Timeline" at all.
