I believe I was indicating to LoS but since I mentioned Galamoth in there too, I suppose it could be both.  :)

Well folks, cat's out of the bag for both of the promised DLC packs!

Quote
KONAMI unleashes two new DLC packs for the most spectacular Castlevania title of all time...
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced two new downloadable content packages for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow which will feature all new areas, monsters, and brand new story lines.

In Castlevania Lords of Shadow 'Reverie' players will return to the Castle as Gabriel to help Laura, the former servant to the vampire Carmilla, in destroying the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen.

Once completed, fans of the series can download the second DLC entitled 'Resurrection', which continues the story directly after the end of the game and gives some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon completion of the game, and Gabriel's ultimate destiny. This will be larger in scope than the first add-on, as it features a final showdown with a very notorious enemy. Both packs are expected to launch in early 2011.
Wonder who the notorious enemy is?  Additionally Joystiq mentioned a February release for pack #1 and April for pack #2.

Hope both of these are satisfying and that the developers take into account some of the criticism and flaws the game had.

I don't know if the story and the twists coming one after another like at the end of the game may not have been taken into account if they've been working on it since the game was in development. :P

All I ask for is no horrible delivery with some of the games twists. If Gabriel is referenced to be something literal as some kind of Angel or a literal warrior of God I'm going to shit my pants in anger and rage. It was bad enough to have no fucking buildup to him being Dracula...

I felt like everything he was facing and discovering as he went through the game worked as buildup.  The developers could've done some more with his appearance to illustrate this rather than leave it to Zobek's loading screen thoughts, but I knew that a "dracula" didn't yet exist in the world once I left the cave in the beginning of necromancer land and figured that he might end up becoming Dracula.

At least this seems to give more evidence, along with that random passage found in a knight's journal, that the castle is a dark entity just like the old series.  Hopefully this will lead to some great belmont versus dracula games in 3D!

The issue with that is Gabriel is a Belmont in adoptive name only. So like...it'd be a man who took the name Belmont versus actual Belmont warriors?

Probably not. Reverie may pick up after Gabriel's silent tears and conclude at the end of Resurrection with him becoming Dracula.
