the S in FPS doesnt always have to mean Shooter... FPS generally refers more to style of view than the action takin place

 Yeah but I'm really thinking even if they didn't include guns that view would not be a good move. I mean it could work but it's too much to ask in my opinion for a change as drastic as the entire way the player views the world and a good quality game. Iga has a hard enough time putting out really great games using the 1997 forumula. third person perspective is what he's good at.

Konami already did it.
Castlevania the arcade features a first person perspective, and if you play with Lady gunner you are firing a gun. That's it, do you want more?

I HATE FPS!!! WITH ALL MY FORCES!!! And the last thing I want for Castlevania is that (Knowing that Arcade already has one). I would preffer another Judgment before a FPS CV.

I forgot about the arcade title. haven't played it yet so can't comment. I prefer 3rd person view too. Just feels more natural and it's what I'm used to.
