That could mean something.  I didn't notice the emblem.  I don't know, maybe he will get in.  The only thing that would make it for sure would have been if the DS Fire Emblem was released before Brawl.

Why would they take marth out of smash for? I mean the character plays extremely well and is one of the hight tier character commonly used.

There is also the fact that Marth has been in two fire emblem games and he is the original fire emblem Lord. The remake would make him a candidate for return (that is the whole reason roy was in) and also if you hadn't noticed (or I didn't mention already) the emblem used for the Fire Emblem characters in smash bros (Ike included) is Marth's sword the Falchion.

I agree I don't think marth is going anywhere that'd be like taking link or mario out, it would piss off too many people.

Ah, nevermind.  You guys are probably right.  He is favored pretty well by a lot of people, and is a damn good character.  He's the only person I'll use in Melee.

Seriously, when is the last time we saw a good update though?

Man, Saki should of been a playable character instead of an assist trophy. The pictures make it look like he is a playable character. Man, he would of been cool to have as a playable character.

Seein how Saki is in the game, I began to wonder what treasure character would be playable.  I mean, if there is a pattern whereas there is a assist trophy from another company (i.e. Grey Wolf,) there has to be a playable character from that same company (i.e. Solid Snake,) then that means there should be a playable character from Treasure.  If so, I hope it is a guardian heroes character.

Now Sakurai's probably just throwing random things  in and calling them updates. I kinda figured there would be a friend list, and the widescreen display update was just pathetic. The only thing I've found interesting in the past month is the new color changes.

Is anyone else disappointed by the game's less then average soundtrack so far?

The jazz arrangement of Meta Knight has made me lose all hope.

Oh, it's not that bad...at least they have the actual rythm and notes done correctly...
...then again, I kinda like Jazz...

Still. It is the same case as Marvel Vs Capcom 2. The entire soundtrack was pretty much Jazzy tunes. Now is that what one would honestly find ideal for the battle of the century? With all these composers it is odd that almost every song in Smash Brothers Brawl seems to be either a generic attempt at orchestral (Kid Icarus, Zelda OOT Mix) dumbed down techno (Donkey Kong, Ridley), or just random (Ashley's theme).

And once again..perhaps one would like that type of music, but I am not sure if it belongs in this particular game. That is just my opinion though.

So I assume you like "Dark Link"? When I saw that I thought I was on a bad Mugen fan palette site...

And how is the widescreen addition pathetic?

Maybe because I was expecting something about the game itself.

You're right...Widescreen compatibility has NOTHING to do with the game! GRRR!

I'd so much rather have the image just stretched when I play it on an HD TV!

I meant the gameplay.  Maybe a new character, someone's moveset, or final smash.  Even a collection item or assist trophy.  I'm not saying I'm pissed that it's in the game.  If you have a widescreen TV, then good for you.  I just don't think it should have been a sole update.  Were it accompanied with something else, I wouldn't care.

New update!!!

...Sakurai is getting lazy with the graphics. Looks like something i'd do in paint.

Nowadays you are either a graphics whore or a fanboy. BR is Shank not CV. It is ridiculous to think that it is better than CV. If it was CV then it would be what RE4 is to Resi, a series killer. Dumb it down and make it look pretty. Enough idiots will buy it.
