Ike's moveset may be differen't, but I doubt Marth will return (as neat as that would be.)  I figure they'll stick someone else from the FE series that was in America.  Maybe Sothe?

Theif:Legault or Volke.
Lord: Hector or Marth.
Paladin: Kent
Berserker: Largo
Archer: Leonardo or Shinon.

Well, not necessarily. There were plenty of characters in Melee with duplicate movesets. Who knows, we might get Ness as an unlockable.

All I want to see is Ridley, from Metroid. Or at the very least a space pirate. there needs to be more metroid in Smash Bros.
Plus, they showed Norfair, and they have the Ridley boss music so I think it's a good possibility

I couldn't agree with you more.  There's three people from the Kirby games, so I think there should be more than just one Metroid character.

Of similar concern to some has been Marth, as some fans have been worried that Fire Emblem franchise newcomer Ike would be replacing him, in the same way that Lucas seems to be replacing Ness. But this one doesn't cause us as much concern

As awesome as that would be, I still doubt it.  I might be wrong.  I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening.  Especially since Nintendo could put a different main character in and give him an agile moveset similar to Marth's. Then again I never thought I'd see the day that Sonic was in.  I guess we'll have to wait and see.  This week's updates sucked, so hopefully there will be some updates that are actually worth somethign next week.

There is also the fact that Marth has been in two fire emblem games and he is the original fire emblem Lord. The remake would make him a candidate for return (that is the whole reason roy was in) and also if you hadn't noticed (or I didn't mention already) the emblem used for the Fire Emblem characters in smash bros (Ike included) is Marth's sword the Falchion.
