I know this game won't be as good as Super Castlevania 4 but I hope it's a lot better than Dracula X.

Rondo of Blood and Dracula X are two totally different games.

Correct though some ppl usually think about the original version of the game as Dracula X, hence some confusion.

I always say Vampire's Kiss. This way there's no confusion whatsoever.
Then again, I'm european.  :o

CastleVania: Dracula X {Akumajou Dracula XX} is Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo retold for the Super Nintendo {Super Famicom} format.

Ummm....no. Rondo of Blood is Akumajou Dracula X and Dracula X is the lackluster Super NES port.

This would have never happened if they hadn't gotten so funky with the names.

Well, I guess they couldn't have called it Dracula XX here since Dracula X never hit America.

This game makes my mouth water! :D This game and Judgement are really the whole reason I want to buy the Wii. Of course there are other games I want to play, but until now I didn't have an extreme urge to buy one.

Don't get your hopes up for Judgment. Even being the hardcore Castlevania fan that I am, I got bored in 3 days. I still play it from time to time, but I could have gone without it.

Based on Nintendo Power's general statement about the release date being soon, and the fact that it's been held back for what I assume is a relatively long time for a downloadable game, I'm starting to think it may be released on Christmas eve or Christmas day. Just a thought I had earlier today. Maybe Nintendo's wanting to release a crapload of games on Christmas as some special occasion or something. Like it's a "gift" to Wii owners. Just speculation on my part though.

I really just interested to see how they did turning it into a fighting game. I am not sure how I feel about them re-designing every character though....
