It's a game. A historically accurate outfit would be boring. (Not to excuse some of Obata's more insane designs, but still.)

i was more disturbed at how Sypha's outfit didn't fit at all what a priest would be caught dead wearing.  a woman priest back then??  wearing tight "robes"??  guess you can't fight so well in actual robes...  but it was great so i forgive them.

i talked to Nebulaluben on the Castlevania Wiki.  she was putting up some of her pics.  i thought it might have been Super Waffle using her user name, so i checked to make sure it wasn't him.  nope, it was really her though    she of course wanted to know what was going on over here, so i sent her the link.

Same here, it adds a dimension of realism to the cosplay. Everything looks perfect except the "tattoo" on her back looks too magic marker-y
