COX should make the '99 game, because he has an accent, & castlevania just needs more cox in it. Plus, IGA hasn't shaved in weeks. jajajaja! =P

I want IGA to make the 1999 game. And I want it to be a 2D game, with Ayami Kojima`s artwork. Music should be done by Michiru Yamane and someone else can collaborate with her, like in the past few games. It is the story that screams to be told, a game that begs to be played! I hope it will be on 3DS (but still play in 2D). Some sprites/elements could be in 3D and the whole thing would be awesome.

1999 should be the next "SOTN", "SOTN" is used here to summarize the art/music/design direction of the game's "near perfect" form(aside from gameplay that is lol).

I don't want IGA to make the 1999 game.

IMO, the 1999 game should be a good, ol' fashioned, Belmont vs the world linear platformer.

Getting rid of the exploration aspect would definitely amplify the urgency that, yes, this is Dracula's strongest resurrection and Julius needs to pull out all the stops to get to Dracula and end his face.

Make the game that progress through a modern day city under attack into Dracula's Castle and up to Dracula's keep.

This almost sounds like Contra. I'd play it!

I'd like to see something like that too. That's something I wanted from AoS/DoS - to take more advantage of the setting.

I wonder if they'll spice anything up for Yoko like what they did with Julius (he can swing on his whip now).  She only has three spells in DoS after all (which happen to be pretty effective).  They at least need to give her one more Hunter Skill to fill out the four HS slots.

Even though I have no interest in this game, I still think it would be pretty cool if Sypha, Trevor and Grant were DLC, just to see how Kojima would design them for the game's art, though that is extremely highly unlikely.

Talk for yourself. A game finished in 16 minutes with hells of programming bugs and very easy non-changeable difficulty can't be considered as a "Near Perfect" Castlevania for me. A nice change after 11 years, but not a revolution and even the biggest problem for next Castlevania games who wants to copy it each time.

Chapter 7 is totally worth it for Castlevania HD fans!   ;D

some things noticed:

1. New trap:  Rolling Boulders

2. New trap: falling blade+pendulum

3. New trap: falling spike ceilings (triggered by floor switches)

4. New enemy: Mummy (they are more dangerous than zombies due to their reach.  Of course nothing serious but it's fun to see players get caught by their attacks. Their stretch attack can be performed upwards too!).

5. Very Massive MAP size!   So many rooms, floors, treasure, you can even get on top of the Pyramid!!!

6. longer time to reach Boss!

7. great design that requires opening doors and turning on elevators to reach boss (it's not super short like
Chapter 4, 5 and 6 and the others. It requires more work to gain access, so ridiculous 2 minute shortcuts are thankfully not here.  This makes Chapter 7 much better designed than the other chapters, especially better than 4, 5, and 6.)

8.  Most unique map.  No other map resembles it's egyptian style and pyramid shape (I guess pyramids can be called the castles of egypt.  ^_^)

9.  Tricky Jumps!   more chances where teamwork excels.

10. Magnets for Shanoa to have fun with.  (and Julius when he comes)

11. New Souls for Soma and Spell for Charlotte.

12. New Boss: Ashtarte.  She is powerful and immune to a lot of things.  Can charm guys.  Valmanway is almost useless against her (yay!!! Someone reported it took them over 10 minutes to beat her with Valmanway.)  Pneumas is almost useless too against her (yay! now more will try Lapiste.)   Requires new strategies to win!

13. New music for "failure" and "success" themes.  The map default also makes use of the new stage and new boss theme that exist in the music section (which was expected.)

14. and more!

of course some people will complain 400 pts is too much for a stage, but those that buy it will have much more fun than doing Chapter 6 runs for another month.  It also gives groups that take advantage of all Chapters to have extra combinations of completing the Chapters in different orders, keeping things more fresh!  ;D

Some speculate the DLC characters will begin to be released next Wednesday.
