Simon comes with this chapter, in a separate DLC. So he's playable.

That map is awesome & ugly at the same time

so I caved in & downloaded all the extra characters, stages, etc. but I haven't really had a chance to sit down for a few hours & play thru it all. The menu music is not bad.

I love how it's basically all the stages from the first CV, snapped together to make one coherent, continuous stage and make sense of their placement according to each other area in the castle.

Yeah except I would've wanted the Clock Tower to be in the middle like in the real game... but they couldn't do that because then there'd be glitches in the layout.  It's weird to have the final stage basically hovering over your start point, though.

Also, they reversed the courtyard of the fourth stage and force you to climb out of the waterway, which is weird, but neat.

This looks wonderfully batshit insane. I can't wait to play it! I wonder if stage 11 will have a similar mish-mash

All of Castlevania 1 as a single super-stage, with extra goodies and whatnot to boot. I like this.

I like this a lot.

Still not buying the game though.
