Hm, many of the songs are hardly recognizable... like, "An empty tome"... it's a completely new song almost. But I REALLY like it! Much better than the original in fact!

And the CHapel from Aria of Sorrow.. wtf? Is it even the same song?

Oh, and what can I say about "Gaze up at the darkness" that hasn't already been said? That tune is S I C K!

However, the boss track from Dawn of Sorrow is completely ruined here. It was much better in its original form... shame.

I have all the files from the game extracted... graphics and all but I dunno how to use em. Every tool Ive tried gives me nothin. All the sounds just come out as static if the program runs at all and all the graphics even tho theyre dds files they look like theyre missin the palette

Is no one from this community playing online?  This game is awesomely addictive in co-op (kind of sucks offline).

I already have 10 hours logged between two days, mostly on Johnathan and Alucard.  Alucard is amazing in that he can attack extremely quickly, and his swords are very powerful (the one handed ones anyway, his two handed swords are kinda slow).  Johnathan I use because I enjoy using him, although he's one of the only characters I know that I reach the 3rd stage boss from accross the screen with his knives.  No other character can seem to reliably get at that boss.  Oh, Johnathan's whip seems to increase in power as you level up his sub-weapons, of which I have about 6 or 7.

there seems to be a pretty good rumor (got pics and it all fits with what else we know) that the first dlc will be the pyramid with Astarte as the boss and Julius and Maria as new characters.  Julius has learned some new tricks too.

The downloadable content looks really cool.  But a part of me kind of wishes it were Richter instead of Julius.  Julius just has such an ugly ass sprite, especially that thick outline.  And another part of me kind of wishes it were adult Maria.

Don't forget those blue pants, 3-foot superjump, crooked posture, etc. I loved dashing through enemies in Aria, too.

I'm still holding out hope SotN Trevor will be included.
