I love how a lot of you are trashing this game before playing it just because of some recyled sprites. You and I both know that you're going to be buying, and playing this game the day it gets released. I would too if I had a 360.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sucks
DmC: Devil may Cry is the equivalent of trailer trash

I don't know if anyone cares, but the Japanese website just got updated with a HD page

http://www.konami.jp/products/dl_xbox_dracula_hd/index.html

The character art is up, but unfortunately its just close ups of the characters, no full page artwork

Also, I guess the artwork is done by a Kozima Yoshihumi

its strange you would post on a board of a game you are not interested in  :o

but you are welcome to stay.  ^_^  All Castlevania fans are friends here, after all.  ^_^

Nice links found everyone!  It's very interesting seeing symbols above players status portraits.
I seen a potion icon and halo icon so far.

Oh yes and the bottom left pedestal is what you use to access your equipment menu/screen in real-time.
I seen someone use something like that before.  ;D

its a little frustrating that the image links don't work...  can't look at the full screen full level image in any detail.

Hey everyone. I have to make some questions regarding the game, I have looked up on internet about this but I found anything.
Maybe it has been discussed but I really need to know this.

Is this game also playable and enjoyable in single player? Or is multiplayer online mandatory.

Even if single player is available, I think is mostly multiplayer, on this matter, I need xbox live gold to play?

And finally, do you know if there is a release on PS3, because the controller is much more confy.

Thanks and sorry if it has been posted before, but always I am in a rush and I haven`t even looked upon all messages.

yeah if you wanna do any game playin online on xbox you need a live gold subscription. And as far as Ive seen the game has single player. How much difference there is between single and multi is anyones guess. It could be the exact same game makin single player pretty hard as the games geared for multiplayer or it could be a primer for multiplayer kinda like Monster Hunters single player

Well, Brauner was by far my favourite boss battle in PoR, so it's a little cool to see him here, I guess. I still think those weird creatures he summons, the ones with many hands hands hiding their faces, are really disturbing. I like them.

I love how a lot of you are trashing this game before playing it just because of some recyled sprites.

I'm sorry, but... "some" recycled sprites? That is an understatement to end all understatements. The game, from what I've seen, is ENTIRELY recycled sprites and backgrounds except for the menus and character portraits. I do see where you're coming from with judging a game before playing it, but I'm definitely holding off on this one unless some of my friends also buy it.

Well, the game looks awfully rushed, random and fanhack-ish. That's not to say that the game won't be fun, we don't know that. The levels don't look very inspiring though. Some new backgrounds - even if DS quality - would've made things better. Right now, this just look plain old, but not in a cool "retro Mega Man 9" way. It's just old and uninspired. Even if they aim for a DS look, they should make new "old" graphics. Period.

But you're right; I'm gonna get the game.  :D

I don't know, a lot of the bone level looks new. The backgrounds are almost completely new(they look pretty cool) and some of the platforms are new too(the giant spine and ribcage look really nice). Other parts of it seemt to use OoE's Sketon Cave decor, but I am virtually surprised how this stage probably looks the best(looking) than every other one see so far.

They also made stuffed animals for the background along with a new wallpaper.
Though personally, I think that bone level looks the worst out of all the levels and that probably has the most new content.

Y'know, maybe they should stick with fully recycled sprites and backgrounds.
WHAT IS THIS!?! I don't even-

I'm interested in this.
