Foffy, any equipment/level based Castlevania is easy with maxed out characters. People can keep the challenge high if they don't exploit the best equipment all the time, and start from scratch from time to time helps too.
A lot of people don't have the common sense to figure out the level of difficulty is in their own hands,
so while this could have used a Very Hard mode that ignores equipment and keeps things at an optimal challenging test of survival and teamwork, there are enough ways to keep things hard instead of just playing to grind to the max and mow down the rooms with minimum effort.
I searched around and found nothing so I'll ask here. Any news on if this will come to PSN? I'd really like to play it, but all I see is "it's a possibility."
It can't be confirmed until they are "done" releasing all the planned DLC they have for the Xbox360 version.
1. They still have to release Chapter 8 and 9 in January.
2. Simon and Hammer are to be expected sometime 1st Quarter,
3. There might be 1 or 2 more Music Packs.
If they aren't going to develop a Chapter 10, or more characters/music packs, that would open up possibilities for a PSN announcement. Harmony of Despair has been one of the top selling games of the summer and still growing in sales, if what IGA said is true, then it's very possible for a announcement and release for PSN sometime 2011.
But right now it's a little too early to be sure. I don't think they will announce a PSN release before their 360 DLCs are done because that might affect their upcoming DLC sales on Xbox360 to some degree.
After Simon and Hammer are released and whatever Music Pack they have left to release. Maybe then we might hear something. But based on last E3, it's very possible to bring it to PSN, it's all up to Konami, and if they already made a decision, no one will know when until the time is right.
