Harmony of Despair looks great and the characters are displayed in far better quality than those GBA and DS screens.  2-D Castlevania is an art, and long time fans don't have a problem with those graphics.

Konami marketing worker? or did Iga finally learn english  :-X?

Why'd they decide to patch the game 4 months after the game came out? I doubt whatever fanbase the game has left will like these changes.

Ya people are pointing to Legion and Beezlebub as the next bosses.  I am impressed both Chapters will most likely be ready in January.    This will result in 9 stages total!  ;D

Especially considering Konami has smoothened out the hurdles they had in the past getting the DLC to work on Live marketplace, there probably won't be delays this time.

Since Globus is confirmed, I wonder who Shanoa will learn it from?  If I recall, she originally learned it from
her master, so I guess one of the new enemies might use it, or it's found in a treasure chest, but I think fans would rather absorb it to put the glyph absorbing ability to more fun use.   ;D

Oh man, having to crawl over it and keep your grip by stabbing it with the whip would be so gross.

I agree, though. As long as they ACTUALLY make the combat QTE free in the next one.

Cool that they're still releasing these, but I think the iron is well around cold at this point. They should try to add a massive new feature to the game, like a stage creator or enemy placement mode.

Having maxed out characters (which requires useless amounts of time wasted to do) means you can very easily plow through the game no matter what. Playing online doesn't help as the game only tweaks the difficulty based on every 2 people in a match. With six people, it's only bumped up twice in terms of base difficulty, which is marginal in a full game.

I searched around and found nothing so I'll ask here. Any news on if this will come to PSN? I'd really like to play it, but all I see is "it's a possibility."

Foffy, any equipment/level based Castlevania is easy with maxed out characters.   People can keep the challenge high if they don't exploit the best equipment all the time, and start from scratch from time to time helps too.    A lot of people don't have the common sense to figure out the level of difficulty is in their own hands,
so while this could have used a Very Hard mode that ignores equipment and keeps things at an optimal challenging test of survival and teamwork, there are enough ways to keep things hard instead of just playing to grind to the max and mow down the rooms with minimum effort.

I searched around and found nothing so I'll ask here. Any news on if this will come to PSN? I'd really like to play it, but all I see is "it's a possibility."

It can't be confirmed until they are "done" releasing all the planned DLC they have for the Xbox360 version.

1. They still have to release Chapter 8 and 9 in January.

2. Simon and Hammer are to be expected sometime 1st Quarter,

3. There might be 1 or 2 more Music Packs.

If they aren't going to develop a Chapter 10, or more characters/music packs, that would open up possibilities for a PSN announcement.   Harmony of Despair has been one of the top selling games of the summer and still growing in sales,  if what IGA said is true, then it's very possible for a announcement and release for PSN sometime 2011.

But right now it's a little too early to be sure.   I don't think they will announce a PSN release before their 360 DLCs are done because that might affect their upcoming DLC sales on Xbox360 to some degree.

After Simon and Hammer are released and whatever Music Pack they have left to release.  Maybe then we might hear something.    But based on last E3, it's very possible to bring it to PSN, it's all up to Konami, and if they already made a decision, no one will know when until the time is right.
