So palette swap + sideboob redesign of an existing character = New character in the Pachi-Slot subseries?

What is this, Castlevania as envisioned by Hisashi Hirai?  Simon's designs are more diverse than that, and he's supposed to be the same character.

Dont know who the chick in the red outfit with the tat is but i would totally hit that......so hard only the true king of england could get me out.

Sounds so wrong when a poster wants to do the the Denasty with a family member of the Danasty family.

Kiyuhito added a new image with Dullahan and a Wyvern.  The Wyvern fight looks rather adventurous.  He was not able to confirm "Amelia Danasty" as the new character's name with his sources.  Anyone know if that's true?

It's really nice that KOnami has started up some Castlevania Pachi-Slot business besides creating games and Pachi-Slot is really a big business in japan. I really concern how the characters are linked to the background story. The girl with a tattoo looks GREAT and I want to have a try on the machine to experience how different battle scenes can be made. Anyway I'll watch the trailer first.

Well, Pachinkos never (or rarely but most likely never) have any story at all. The first Pachislot game was just a few random cinematics thrown together. From what I heard, the characters and the little cutscenes are only there to attract players.

oh and it seems this is supposed to be the actual cover?

A home version is eing made too apparantly. of course that is what I was told.

Konami does have a gaming segment in the US, I see the office every time I fly into Vegas.  They don't make video game themed machines for the US however.  I suppose in the US most of the slot machine players are old and could care less about Castlevania.

The last time I was in Vegas I saw a Konami machine that was Panda themed.  Stupid pandas.

Konami should realize that castlevania themed machines can be a feasible and profitable business and will make some for the US.

Pachislot machines wouldn't do well in the west unless they were to become widespread in casino's. Arcades have a hard enough time trying to survive to begin with in countries like the US. Pachinko machine's are such an odd commodity, that many westerners would fine them bizarre.

I haven't heard anything about a home version of the game, unless you are talking about the cell phone download?

That picture is the cover of one (of two) promotional "booklets" given to proprietors.  The first one (the picture you're showing) answers questions about Castlvania, shows the tie-ins like OoE and the Movie that was supposed to come out, and basically tries to talk up the sales qualities of the pachi game and the people who made it.  The second booklet deals with how the game works.  It shows some of the bonuses in the game, different pictures, and pathways players take when they play.  Ironically there is also another picture at the end of this booklet trying to tie it into the Movie that apparently will never come out.

New pic:

Boy, Trevor better believe that the Succubus is really Sypha in this scene or some other plausible excuse.  I suppose blow-kissing has been one of the Succubus's main attacks lately, interesting.

It's nothing that great.  They just use that first movie poster to try and tie-in to it.
