Why hasn't anyone tried to make a DXX romhack? So much potential...

Thaddeus changed it so that you'd play as Trevor in that game, but beyond that, not much was done, that I know of.
Wouldn't it be cool, though, to make a fake-Rondo hybrid using DXX graphics?  That'd be pretty neat-o.

Didn't Thaddeus also do one that fetured the anti-hero from the canceled 32-X castlevania game? I still have that hack including the trevor hack too. I would love to see Rondo of blood get remaid with the SNES DX sprites. The burning village was nicly done with the mode-7 fire blazing away in the background. A lot less 2D then as it was in Rondo. The clock tower was also another beautiful design (once you got to the gear rooms of course).

I dunno. It'd be cooler to hack DXX into a completely new game with better level design, maybe changed AI, etc.

I finally beat the red bat thing....this game is annoying more than anything else because I just noticed John reacts a quarter of a second after I press the button. *Facepalm

I was confused as to what type of creature it was that you were fighting in the leaning tower stage. I found out later that it's the front view of a Gargoyle.

Bloodlines is really a tough game to beat. I've never finished it until now. The controls can be very frustrating most of the time. Wish they'll make a newer versions of such Castlevania classic though.
