OK, I don't feel like rummaging through 8 pages of post, so I apologize if this was already brought up, but...

Nox Arcana Should be hired to do the music for the next CV game.

From the album, "Transylvania", "Dracula's Castle":

Nox Arcana. Transylvania 7 - Castle Dracula
"Stuff and things."

I would love to hear a remix of this New Super Mario song, done Castlevania style. Maybe change the tempo a little and add a Michiru Yamane beat to it. You'd have a clocktower tune right there. It's so damn epic  :D

New Super Mario Bros Music - Boss Castle

Oh, and this must've been meant for a Castlevania game. It just HAS TO, especially between 0:40 and 1:10-sih;

These two tracks from Demon's Souls seem like they could fit in a Castlevania game.

The first track, "Old King Allant", could work as a Dracula battle theme.

Demon's Souls Soundtrack - "Old King Allant"

Demon's Souls Soundtrack - "Maiden Astraea"

There also some ones from Dark Souls that could fit as well but I think I'll link to them later.

WTF Bloodrayne is chiptuned?

There's a hidden OST with all the tunes chiptuned, so it's a bonus.

Question about Bloodrayne Betrayal's bonus NES tracks: Can the NES hardware really handle that? I'm no expert, but there seem to be too many instruments playing at the same time compared to an actual NES track.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

While some developers used special chips in their NES/Famicom games (Sunsoft and Konami in particular) I doubt that the songs from Bloodrayne Betrayal could be recreated through real NES hardware. They're much too complex. I've heard that even the songs from Mega Man 9 and 10 would sound slightly different/simplified had they been on a real NES.

Im not too sure about the 9 and 10 songs, they seem pretty legit. The colors and effects used in 9 and 10 though definitely. For one, they use more color variations that the NES couldnt use. (notice Mega man himself is different shades than his NES sprites) And Tornado Man's stage has that spinning platform thing

I love Nox Arcana! I actually had that song on my iPod a while back. They also have a song called "Ordo Dracul, Ave Dracula."

Akumajou Densetsu's (CV3 Jap) RC7 chip might be able to produce that song. It's a tough call though, and I'm sure they aren't specifically targeting an RC7 standard for the songs. It is indeed too much for the stock NES sound chip to produce though.

MM9 and MM10 notes: MM10's OST has some tracks that use timings that no NES chip could do. As for graphics, the games didn't use NES standard palette structures either. Megaman 9's boss select screen goes above the limit, and you can notice a 5th palette (at least) in MM10 when you freeze and enemy using the ice weapon.

There are other things too but those are just the more noteworthy examples.

I can totally hear this going for a Dracula battle. It's certainly epic enough.

What? It's a really fun game. H parts aside, it's still got a good (if cliche) engrossing story, and good music.

Still, it was kinda surprising to see that here of all places. I almost did a spit take when I saw that. -_-
