Anyone played this? Its basically a Dynasty Warriors game tailored to fit Fist of the North Star.

I heard it was terrible.
It seems like it does from the videos I've seen in it. The combat system even seems less nuanced and more superficial (along with just extremely slow) than the standard Warriors game. It's also pretty low in content, but doesn't really make up for it.

I always thought that one looked like God Hand, albeit much slower and less funny. Haven't played it though so I wouldn't know..

Well it all depends on if you are familiar with the DW series or if you are a fan of HnK. Im not too familiar with DW, but I am  afan of HnK, so the game, while not perfect, is still pretty good IMO.

But my griping aside, I still think it's a fun game. Addictive too. If anything, it expects you to already know the story. Its catered to the fans of the series.

As a big fan of the FotNS series, I wasn't really satisfied with this game. I mean, it's cool that you got a skill tree to get more attacks and the detail in some of the characters is pretty good(Toki coughing up blood after some specials) but...it didnt feel like i was playing a FotNS game, or even a good warriors game at that :/

To be honest, From the trailers, I WAS expecting a bit more platforming. It would have been a nice pace breaker between exploding heads.

To be honest, I am glad there wasn't too many platforming segments. Either they were brain dead easy or just a pain in the ass due to the camera. My favorite FotNS game will always be this one though: Hokuto No Ken - Fist of the North Star - arcade game

Honestly there has been one or two occasions when I actually yelled

YEEEAAA-TATATATATATATATATA! during a fight. I've only been in a small number of fights in my life but I'm meaning real ones not the ones on the screen. While it was years ago, I was at one time able to speed punch, though of course nothing like Ken's.

I never tried the arcade game because I never even knew it existed until now. I do however own the original gameboy cart of FotNs. I only really used one character throughout the game since he has a really cheap power move that always saves my @$$ and allows me to kill off all my enemies without them touching me (for the most part).

I used to be highly skilled in a similar move, only I used my feet instead of my fists, and I aimed solely at the crotch. The 100-foot crotch kick, or the 'groin pulverizer' as it came to be known, was feared by many.
